Dr. Christopher Harnain MD, MBA, RPVI

Dr. Christopher M. Harnain serves as Chief of Interventional Radiology at Vantage Vascular and is a founding member of the practice. As a board-certified interventional radiologist, he is dedicated to expanding access to advanced, minimally invasive, image-guided treatments that improve patient outcomes while reducing the need for traditional surgery.

In the context of testicular cancer and men’s health, Dr. Harnain utilizes interventional radiology techniques to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and the management of cancer-related and vascular conditions. His expertise includes embolization and targeted vascular therapies that can help manage complications, improve blood flow, and enhance recovery with less downtime.

Dr. Harnain completed advanced training at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, where he developed expertise in complex vascular and interventional procedures. His clinical focus includes venous thromboembolism (VTE), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), and embolization techniques, all performed with a precision-driven, patient-centered approach.

Previously, Dr. Harnain served as Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, where he led a practice focused on minimally invasive interventions. He has contributed to peer-reviewed research, presented at national conferences, and continues to advance the field through innovation, collaboration, and education.

Dr. Harnain is committed to delivering thoughtful, individualized care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each patient receives comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of medicine, he lives in Bergen County, New Jersey, with his wife and two children. He enjoys exploring new restaurants and traveling scenic routes throughout the Northeast.
